Server error deleting a user

Hi, I was deleting one of the users in our “solfo” account just now. It took FOREVER (minutes) and ended with a white page just saying “An internal server error occurred. Please try again later.”. Maybe a bit unrelated I was also reassigning lots of messages (about 150 I think it was) by clicking “All” and then choosing reassign. That’d consistently take a while and make Safari want to stop executing the javascript. I’d reload and some of the messages were moved and I’d go do some more (and repeat).

I still can’t get the user deleted. Now it doesn’t give the server error, it just spins for a long time and then goes back to the list of users (with the user still there). |

I’ve had the same problem – these guys need to tidy up their software. |

For what it’s worth, after my last try (3rd?) that user is finally deleted. I didn’t notice for a few days, so I don’t know if it worked or if the Sproutit staff went it and deleted the user manually. |

We are having some issues with deleting users. When a user is deleted the database goes through all of the messages and reassigns them to the account holder. When there are more than a few hundred messages to reassign the database becomes overwhelmed. We are going to be issuing a fix for this in the next few months but it is part of a larger project to restructure the DB in preparation for the next version. |
