Credit Card Security

Hi Guys, someone asked a question in the General Forum about credit card security, but it hasn’t been answered yet. I’d like to know the answer too before entering my card details to upgrade.

The poster was querying whether credit card info is posted over an insecure connection, is this the case?

I was curious about the answer to this, too. Doesn’t seem like a hard thing to answer; it’s either “yes” or “no”. :-)

If you are on a personal or basic plan the data is not encrypted. We will be implementing SSL for these types of transactions on all accounts but for a temporary work around can will enable SSL on your account until you are done entering your credit information.
