IE problems?

I’m not an IE user but my co-workers are. There seem to be two problems:

One user has a “squished” pane when trying to read or write messages. It takes up about 50% vertically of the screen space.
Another user complains that it is really slow. I think it’s because you’ve got a lot of AJAX going on. I’ve also noticed that the green pop-ups have appeared each time she’s logged in.

Do you happen to know what version of IE your co-workers are using? Mailroom is optimized for Safari, FF2 and IE7.
