Hi,

Using a free SSL account for testing, Mailroom uses an SSL CA which doesn’t come with Mac OS X, resulting in a nasty warning dialog each time you access Mailroom. I just wanted to see if this was the case for the paid accounts too or if there’s a chance to switch to a better known CA sometime.

Thanks!
Frederik

Hey Frederik,

Sorry for the scary warning. The company that issues our SSL cert is having trouble with it’s wildcard certs. We are trying to work with them to get this fixed but it doesn’t seem to be happening. We will have it working or get a new cert soon.

For now once you clear the warning it shouldn’t come back.

I noticed this too. Any progress on getting it fixed? We decided to go with the non-SSL plan partly because of this.

We have contacted the company several times attempting to get rid of the warnings but wasn’t able to correct the problem.

The SSL is working properly but the browsers on certain computers are not properly recognizing the certificates. If you clear the warning once they won’t come back.

I’m really sorry and we are still working on this.
