Topic: Feature Requests and Bugs / Feature Request - Show email timestamps Actually unless I’m misunderstanding you, I think we already have that feature. Just click on preferences and uncheck “Show Relative Times” in the preference dialog then click “Save Changes”. You may need to refresh the web page for the new changes to take effect. |

Topic: Communicating with Your Customers / Breaking the ice Thanks for opening up this forum John! Please tell us how it works for you. In case you haven’t seen this yet; you can actually post your content forms directly into Mailroom, which will allow you to automatically tag and assign emails based on the values of the fields. |

Topic: Help! / Conversation Identifier - Can it be other than email? Hi Rapind, Unfortunately that kind of feature is not yet supported but it is a really good idea. A major component of our next release of Mailroom will involve opening a bunch of APIs. We’ll be sure to consider this use case as we develop the API. |

Topic: Help! / Form Submissions - Unknown Address Hi Rapind, The key name you should use is “form_email”, not “user_email”. Also “user_name” should be “form_name”. If you have these two keys, then you should see the name and email appear as the “from” field of the email you get in Mailroom. |

Topic: Help! / Checking Emails HI Mike, Mailroom checks email about once every 10-15 minutes depending on our how faster your and other servers are responding. If you have just setup your system, you may see a longer delay as Mailroom will need to download all of the email in your account first to populate your account. Usually first email shows up within about an hour or so after you add it. |

Topic: Feature Requests and Bugs / Email Metrics Hi we are working on a fairly comprehensive stats package for Mailroom 3. Mailroom 3 is nearly a complete rewrite of the front end that will address many of the requests we have received from customers over the last year, which is why it is taking some time to finish up. |

Topic: Help! / Number of Emails Hi Mike, You can find that by looking in your preferences under Billing. It will tell you the current message count. I believe you have to be the account owner to see the Billing section. |

Topic: Help! / suggested replies Hi Daniel, Glad to hear you like the service so far! You’re actually the first one to request turning off the initial suggestions altogether. We don’t have that capability right now, but you could get close by doing the following: 1. Create a new empty saved reply. After a while, the system should start to “suggest” the empty saved reply, which will give you the effect you want. If this doesn’t work for you let us know and we’ll look into adding a feature to turn off the initial suggestion altogether. Oh, by the way, one thing we do at Sproutit is we have an empty reply that looks something like this: Hello RECIPIENT_FIRST, Your Friend at Sproutit, We choose this saved reply whenever we want to send a new email not covered by one of our templates. It saves some typing and ensures everyone who responds has a nice friendly greeting. :-) You other users might find this more helpful than a simple blank response window. |

Topic: Help! / Form posted attachments not arriving Form posts with attachments appear to be working for me. There are two things that typically go wrong in this situation: 1. Make sure that you’ve added enctype=”multipart/form-data” To the form element.

Topic: Help! / emails going to spam Hi Winston, I’m sorry it took some time to respond to you; we were away for the holidays when you first wrote in. I just want to clarify your problem here: are you saying all email sent by you from Mailroom to a Gmail account is ending up in spam or that email sent to Mailroom is put into spam by Mailroom? Thanks, |

Topic: Feature Requests and Bugs / Firefox not working? Hi, Firefox should work just fine with Mailroom. We use FireFox regularly here at Sproutit in fact. Can you tell me what version of FireFox you are using, the operating system (Windows or Mac) and your account domain? If you do not want to post this information publicly, you can also email us at support@sproutit.com -Charles |

Topic: Help! / how to remove tags? Hi, Thanks for writing in. To untag a mail, just click on the list of tags and the tag picker you used to tag the email to begin with will appear. Click on the tag you want to remove and it will be un-highlighted. Mailroom only shows tags that are actually used. To delete a tag, all you need to do is to untag the conversations. |

Topic: Announcements / Mailroom Upgrade in Progress We are currently updating our database for a new feature. Although Mailroom should remain available during this period, you may experience some slowness. Also email delivery is suspended until the upgrade is complete. I will post here when the update is finished. It should take less than 30 minutes. |

Topic: Feature Requests and Bugs / New saved replies not showing up in dropdown Brian, You are full of great ideas! :-) When you add a new saved reply it should appear in your Suggested Replies box without a reload, but there might be a bug there. We’ll file it and see what we can figure out. We have also been thinking about adding a checkbox to the reply area like you suggest for awhile but we haven’t worked out an interface that we are happy with yet. Once we have that figured out we’ll add it right away. |
