Tags are great, but they are such a hassle to select/unselect. One big time saver would be to have tags shown on the left, the same way Gmail does it (so if you click on a tag it shows you all the messages with that tag).

Hi there,

When running Mailroom from Camino (Firefox with a Mac look and feel), it gives me the warning that only Firefox and Safari are supported. It actually runs fine, but it gives this warning every single time I go to Mailroom. Would it be possible to either add Camino to the list of allowed browsers, or let me turn off the warning message?

Topic: Feature Requests and Bugs / Request: Use my own SMTP server

Hi there,

It would be great if we could set up mailroom to send messages using our own mail server (by specifying server name, port, username, password, and authentication method). Why? Three reasons:

1) We've set up our mail server so that we minimize the chances of being tagged as spam (SPF DNS records, etc).

2) We use GMail for Domains and save all history as a "backup".

3) We get some additional safety because our outgoing mail is scanned for viruses, etc.

Item #2 is the biggest one… right now we can use MailRoom to work very nicely with GMail, but our outgoing mail isn’t saved on the GMail side in the conversation.
