Topic: Feature Requests and Bugs / IMAP Support

Having the ability to use IMAP would solve a lot of problems I am likely to have. Also, Gmail and Google Apps now support IMAP quite well and it would be amazingly useful to have the ability to make use of it in Mailroom.

I could have a specific label or folder on the IMAP server that contains items that Mailroom should handle. Mailroom could save outgoing responses in another IMAP folder for archival purposes (to make up for the lack of using our own SMTP).

The IMAP support wouldn’t even need to be complicated. Any support for IMAP is probably better than none, so I wouldn’t worry about using IMAP folders to reflect tags or anything like that.
