Topic: Communicating with Your Customers / Gmail record keeping One easy way to sort and keep tabs on the history of emails is to use Gmail filters. I have my forms post to gmail then post to mailroom. The gmail filters allow me to label emails according to the content prior to posting them to mailroom. I can also maintain a running check to be sure mailroom isn’t missing any forwarded emails by comparing the daily input from gmail to the daily input from mailroom. |

Topic: Communicating with Your Customers / Breaking the ice Thanks Charles. I am using a web based service that has a built in form generator. I can write my own form but I am lazy and use theirs. I use one form to cover the many different pages (lazyness again) The down side is that the subject of the form remains the same “Contact Form”. The form has radio buttons so the customer can choose a department. In the past I used Gmail to sort the mail according to the radio button choice. Right now I prefer the mail to come to a central person who reads and distributes it. That works even better as customers don’t always choose the correct department. |

Topic: Help! / Initial Help Screens I am using the lateset version of Explorer 7. I am unable to drg the screen. I have tried this on Xp and Vista. A black outline shows up as a border but there is no way to drag the window that I have found. |

Topic: Communicating with Your Customers / Breaking the ice Nobody’s posted here. So I just thought I would. If Mailroom helps us track our contact form then it will do the job we need. |

Topic: Help! / Initial Help Screens The “close window” link on the Help Screen that pops up on first use is so close to the bottom that the “close” link is obscured. I had to close everyone’s tool/address bars so they could access it. Thanks |
